Production: A M Rathnam

Music: Srikanth Deva

'Sivakasi's songs are full of mass rhythms and amazing beats. In 'Sivakasi' Srikanth Deva has come up with a blend of fast and soft numbers. In all there are six numbers to be cherished. Director Perarasu has penned the lyrics for all the six numbers.

'Vaada Vaada'

This is the intro song. This number is where the hero is introduced in the movie and is dedicated for the hero. It is high-pitched and has heavy rhythms. The instruments used are heavy.

Edhu Enna

Uma Ramanan returns with this number. This is a soft number. Srikanth's orchestration is the highlight of the song. Perarasu's lyrics are amazing and are backed by good instrumentation.

Kodambakkam Area

This is a typical 'dappanguthu number'. Nayantra makes a special appearance for this item number.

Deepavali Deepavali

This song seems to be inspired by Ilayaraja's late 80's rock numbers. The tune is fast and is a fusion of westerm and Tamil folk music. The drums are used to the fullest and the song is capable of dazzling the listeners.

Ada Ennatha Solvenungo

A high-octane peppy number, with Anuradha Sriram and Udit Nayaran.

Enn Theivathukkei

The only emotional number in the album. This deals with mother-son bondage. A typical pathos song. However, the song is flat and insipid. It doesn't strike a chord.

To sum up, Sivakasi is like a live cracker, full of dazzle and fun.
