Naseeruddin Shah is going to act as Rajnikanth

We all know that Bollywood beauty Vidhya Balan is doing a new film with director Milan Lutharia. The film titled 'The Dirty Picture' is a biopic of the late South Indian actress Silk Smitha. And now, the director has managed to pull off a coup of sorts by getting slim, silver haired actor, Nasheeruddin Shah to play Rajnikanth in this film.

Naseer, of course is approaching it with his characteristic humour. ''Yes my character is modeled on Rajnikanth. I'll wear flamboyant clothes and I'll sport more than seven wigs too. I am really looking forward to it'', says Naseer with a glint in his eye.

Interestingly, Naseer admits that he has not seen any Rajni film till date. He said, ''Director Milan is sending me a DVD of a film featuring Rajnikanth and Silk Smitha. I am quite curious to see what it was all about. I am also planning to watch 'Robot'. I want to pull off the perfect Rajni act convincingly''. While, Naseer plays Smitha's favourite matinee idol in the movie, Tushaar Kapoor plays his brother and Emran Hashmi plays the filmmaker who groomed and allegedly exploited Smitha.
