Neetu Chandra confirms she is in Greek film 'Home Sweet Home'

Actress Neetu Chandra is going international after having had her stints in Bollywood, Tollywood, Kollywood, etc. She has signed a Greek film titled ‘Home Sweet Home’ directed by Kyriakos Tofaridis. It will release across the globe in English and Greek.


Neetu Chandra confirmed the news in Chennai. She is currently shooting for Amir's 'Adi Bhagavan' in which she pairs up with Jayam Ravi. Her two previous Tamil films were 'Yaavarum Nalam' and 'Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai'.



She said the Greek director had met Anurag Kashyap recently at a film awards function. Kyriakos Tofaridis told the Bollywood director that he was looking for an Indian actress for his film 'Home Sweet Home' and Kashyap recommended Neetu’s name.



Neetu said she is leaving on May 7 for Cyprus where the shooting will start on the following day. Along with Neetu, one Hollywood and two Greek actors feature in the film, which is a romantic comedy.



It looks like Neetu will play the lead. It is said Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor were in contention for the role, but Neetu pipped the post.
