Parthepan's bid to enter Guinness Book of Records
Jun 1, 2012 PGVActor/director Radhakrishnan Parthepan is making a serious bid to make it to the Guinness book of records. How?
No actor in the world has so far attempted to play the same role he did 23 years ago. Parthepan is now attempting to do this for the first time with the aim of finding his name in the Guinness world record.
The veteran is remaking his National award winning film ‘Pudiya Padhai’ in which he played the protagonist. He will reprise the same character from the original.
Parthepan says the film will be the same but with a different screenplay. The original was about a vagrant who outrages the modesty of a girl and how she reacts to the situation. In the remake the story will be the same up to a point but the girl will react in a different manner. Parthepan will play the vagrant, the role which he donned in ‘Pudiya Padhai’ more than two decades ago.
Parthepan is looking for a heroin. He hopes to start the project by the end of June. The actor has already applied to the Guinness authorities conveying to them his attempt to set a world record in acting.
