Anees Tanvir, wife of noted cinematographer-director Jeeva who died of heart attack in Russia one year ago during the shooting of Jayam Ravi-starrer "Dhaam Dhoom", has started a production house named 'Vision Jeeva Studios' to perpetuate her husband's memory.

She announced the launch of the new company's first project, "Muthirai", at a function in Chennai on May 2.

ASA Production is the partner in the production of the film which is to be directed by Jeeva's assistant Srinath.

Saleem, who also worked with Jeeva, is to handle the camera.

Daniel Balaji, Nithin Sathya, Lakshmi Rai and Manjari are to play lead roles in "Muthirai".

Yuvan Shankar Raja will score the music.

Ace cinematographer P.C. Sriram, who groomed Jeeva, renowned ad film-maker P. Jayendra, producer Vikram Bhat and actor Vikram paid glowing tributes to Jeeva.

Explaining why Srinath would direct "Muthirai", Anees Tanvir said she was touched when she learnt from Srinath that Jeeva had once told him that when he started a production house, he would ask him to direct a film for him.

Anees said she would herself direct the next film.
