Pooja Kumar to star with Kamal in 'Viswaroopam'

Actress Pooja Kumar has got a big break in Kollywood after more than a decade. She is now pairing up with Kamal Haasan in 'Viswaroopam'.

She replaces Sonakshi Sinha who originally signed up for the film, but later dropped out citing dates problem. Shriya and several other actresses also were approached. Finally Kamal's search for an actress to star with him has ended with getting Pooja Kumar's nod. He is quoted as telling a Mumbai tabloid that it is a big break for Pooja Kumar, an NRI of Punjabi origin, and.'Viswaroopam' is the biggest ever film being made in Tamil Nadu.

In Chennai, an announcement from Kamal's side said that Pooja Kumar has been roped in to play the female lead.

Pooja Kumar made her debut in Kollywood more than a decade ago with 'Kadhal Rojave'. She then moved on to do Bollywood movies and some international projects.

She was last seen in 'Anything for you', a crossover film by Anand Alagappan, which was released in Tamil earlier this year.
