Poorna signs Arulnidhi film

Actress Poorna will play the lead in Arulnidhi’s next film directed by Ganesh Vinayak. The film is yet to be titled .It deals with the life of four friends. Pawan, Dharun Shatriya and Murugadoss are Arulnidhi’s friends. The heroine plays an equally important role.

Confirming this, Poorna told mediapersons that she is glad to be working with Arulnidhi in this film. She was totally convinced when Ganesh narrated her character.

She said they would start shooting from June 15 in Chennai and Madurai.

Poorna’s Malayalam film ‘Chattakari’ (‘Auna’ in Telugu), a remake of an old Malayalam film of the same title, will be released soon.

‘Arjunan Kaadhali’ in which Poorna pairs up with Jai is nearing completion and only one song remains to be shot.

Poorna said ‘Karuvachi’ will project her from a new angle and the difference can be seen in her mannerism and costumes.

In her next film with Arulnidhi, she said, she is glad she would not have to play a stereotyped heroine.
