Prabhu Deva 'reunites' with wife Ramalatha

Choreographer-turned-director Prabhu Deva has reunited with his wife, Ramalatha, it is reported. The development follows the Friendship Day rendezvous of Simbu and Nayanthara in Hyderabad.

Prabhu Deva married Ramalatha on Sept. 8, 1995 and of their three children, one died of cancer in 2008. Fifteen years after their marriage, Prabhu Deva developed friendship with Nayanthara. She had even tattooed his name on her wrist and begun appearing in public. Their marriage was clearly on the cards.

As a first step, Prabhu Deva got divorced from his wife Ramalatha. A Chennai family court dissolved their marriage “by mutual consent’ in July 2011. The court, however, granted Prabhu the liberty to have access to his children.

After Prabhu Deva’s separation from his wife, Nayanthara cooled off and distanced herself from him.

After a year-long silence, Nayanthara met his old buddy Simbu in Hyderabad on the last Friendship Day and they tied friendship bands on the arms of each other.

The talk is Prabhu Deva has now reunited with his wife Ramalatha and recently celebrated his son’s birthday with fanfare.
