Priyadarshan, Santhosh Sivan team for Hindi remake of 'Nadodigal'

National award winning director Priyadarshan and ace cinematographer/director Santhosh Sivan will be teaming for the Hindi remake of the superhit Tamil film ‘Nadodigal’. They had worked together 17 years ago on ‘Kaalapani.


Santhosh Sivan had won the national award for the Best Cinematographer when he worked with Priyadarshan last time.


According to Santhosh Sivan, in the remaking of ‘Nadodigal’, Sabu Cyril too will be involved.


This will be Priyadarshan’s 19th Bollywood remake and is now busy with pre-production work.


‘Nadodigal’ in Hindi will feature only new comers. The original directed by Samuthirakani too had only new faces.


Manisha Korde is writing the script. He had written ‘Billu Barber’, the Hindi adaptation of Malayalam film ‘Kathaparayumbol’ and ‘Kuselan’ In Tamil.


The Hindi verson of ‘Nadodigal’ will be shot in Mumbai and Mysore, beginning June 30.
