Prize offer on the climax of new film 'Mittai'

What is special about M.S. Anbu's "Mittai" (Sweet)? Its climax, says the director.

This is Anbu's second film featuring two heroes Santhosh and Prabha. One more Malayalee actress, Maya Unni, makes her debut as the heroine in this Tamil film. The two male lead characters are diverse in nature.

A former associate of director Bharathirajaa, Anbu's maiden directorial venture was an offbeat film "Pradhi Gnayiru".

According to director Anbu, the USP of "Mittai", a two-hero subject, will be its 'shocking climax'.

Sabesh Murali has scored the music. The film's highlight is a song 'Mittai Penne' on the lines of 'Apple Penne' and 'Loosu Penne'.

Talking about the story, Anbu says, "Though it is a college story with the commercial formula, it is presented in an entirely different style. The climax will be shocking and no one will be able to guess it."

The message of the film is that study when you have to, otherwise life will go for a toss.

Anbu has announced a novel idea to promote the film. He will select persons from a cross-section across Tamil Nadu and screen for them the film up to the climax. Those who can guess the climax exactly the way the director has conceived will be awarded cash prizes.

The film is expected to be released in a few weeks.
