Rajini to preside over Imsai Arasan 100th day

Superstar Rajinikanth is presiding over the function to mark the completion of 100th day running of Vadivelu-starrer "Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi".

The function, organized on a grand scale, will be held on Oct. 14 at Kalaivanar Arangam, Chennai. Rajini will give away awards and mementoes to the artistes featured in the film. Top film personalities have been invited for the function.

"Imsai Aran 23am Pulikesi" was produced by Shankar and directed by debutant Simbudevan. It became a runaway hit with a record box-office collection. The response was tremendous from children. No other character in any film in recent times has been so enjoyed by children as Imsai Arasan, the hilarious character played by comedian Vadivelu.
