Rajinikanth worships at Tirumala
Oct 20, 2011 PGVSuperstar Rajinikanth paid a visit to Tirumala and offered worship at the Sri Venkateswara temple there on Oct.19. He had undergone surgery recently and is now doing well. This is his first visit to Tirumala after he recovered from his illness.
Rajini arrived reached Tirumalai in the evening. After resting at a guest house for a while, he went to the temple and had darshan of the Lord. Considering his health, he was allowed entry into the temple through the Mahadwaram.
He was accompanied by his wife Latha, daughters Soundarya and Aiswarya and sons-in-law Dhanush and Ashwin and actor Mohanbabu. The family members took the Vaikuntam route to go into the temple.
After Rajini and his family members had offered worship, the temple officials at the Ranganayaki Mandapam gave them prasadam.
The superstar weighed 85 kilograms of sugar 'kalkandu' in 'Thulabharam' in fulfillment of his vow and presented it to the Devasthanam.
As he came out, fans, who had gathered outside,mobbed him and police persuaded them to disperse.
Talking to mediapersons later, Rajini said 'Now I am doing fine. By the grace of Sri Venkateswara I have fully recovered from my illness. I am very happy to have 'Swami dharshan' after what I had gone through in the last few months.'
