New Delhi, June 21 (IANS) The charisma of one man, Rajnikant, has helped Tamil movie "Sivaji: The Boss" overtake Hollywood biggies like "Fantastic Four", "Ocean's 13" and "Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End" at the box office in Britain last weekend, according to trade data.

"Sivaji" has collected Rs.13.6 million in its opening weekend in Britain, proving yet again that the popularity of the south Indian actor is well beyond the Indian territory.

The film, which shows iconic Rajnikant, 57, wooing and dancing with an actress almost half his age, has been lapped up by the audience who would not want to miss the superstar's antics.

"Sivaji", which is being shown only in 12 screens in Britain, has fetched one of the biggest starting collections ever in the island and has put to shame the much hyped Yash Raj film "Jhoom Barabar Jhoom", which has only collected nearly Rs.23 million despite being shown in 47 screens.

The mammoth overseas earnings have come about although some pro-LTTE websites called upon the Sri Lankan diaspora to boycott the movie citing Rajnikant's previous remarks critical of the Tamil Tigers.
