Rajnikanth receives NDTV's 'Entertainer of the Decade' Award

Our 'Superstar' Rajnikanth received the prestigious NDTV's 'Entertainer of the Decade' award at a function held on February 15th evening at Taj Palace, New Delhi. It's the second NDTV award for the actor, since he had already received the NDTV's best Indian Award in 2007.

NDTV (New Delhi Television Limited) is a private television group in India. Each year the channel presents the 'NDTV Indian of the year' awards for the successful persons from various fields. The channel recently selected Superstar Rajnikanth for the 'Entertainer of the decade' award and invited him to receive the award in person at the function. In the event, NDTV chairman Prannoy Roy presented the award to Rajni. While, Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram presided over the function. On speaking the event, the 'Superstar' said,'' I want to thank all my producers and directors who initiated and advised me to this level. I am just an instrumental to them''.
