Rambha returns to big screen

Actress Rambha is staging a comeback in Kollywood after a gap of three years.

She will play opposite Prakashraj in "Vidiyum Varai Kaathiru" (VVK) to be produced by Pallavai under the banner of Parijay Creations. The director is Vyas.

This is one of the ten films for which pooja were performed on July 14 before the start of the inauspicious "Adi" month.

To be made in both Tamil and Telugu, the movie is a racy thriller without fights but with the feel of an action flick.

"VVK is a very realistic and natural film. You will see a different Rambha in the movie," says Director Vyas.

The film is to be shot in Sri Lanka and the songs are to be picturised in Hyderabad.

The star cast includes Riyaz Khan, Sampath, Mumaith Khan and Flora.

The music director is yet to be selected.

Prabhu, Kushboo and Kaja Moideen were among the film personalities who attended the pooja of VVK. Teams participating in Kalaignar TV's weekend dance shows "Maanada Mayilada" were also present. Rambha has been on the panel of judges for this reality show.
