Ravi to play Shruti's father in '3'

Ravi, who has acted in 'Nil Gavani Sellathey', 'Vellore Mavattam', 'Engaeyum Eppothum ' and many other films, has bagged the role of Shruti Haasan's father in '3'.

Shruti is shooting for this film now.

This is Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya Dhanush's debut film as director.

Ravi says he is glad to have been selected for this father character. 'I hope my performance gets noticed. It is a pleasure working with the daughters of the two superstars of Kollywood.'

It is said Ravi has completed work on films like 'Mounaguru', 'Nugam', 'Othukupuram' and 'Nooru Varusham'.

Another project that he will be doing is 'Sattai' under director Prabhu Solomon's production.
