Rima returns to southern cinema

Chennai, June 5 (IANS) After a gap of six months Rima Sen is returning to southern cinema with "Yamagola". The actress became a star in Tamil filmdom when her musical romance "Minnale", with R. Madhavan, hit the bull's eye.


The last time she was seen in a Tamil film was in "Rendu". In this film too, released in November, she was paired with Madhavan.


Subsequently, Rima was to do the lead role with Ravi 'Jeyam' in "Dham Dhoom" but the offer was withdrawn when she demanded two song sequences.


"Yamagola" is to be directed by Srinivasa Reddy. Meera Jasmine, Venu and Srikanth will play important roles in the film.
