'Rowthiram' will be released on August 12

Looks like Jiiva's much-awaited 'Rowthiram', is all set to hit screens on August 12.

The grapevine in the industry is that the film, which was earlier about to release on August 19 will release a week earlier (August 12). According to a source, RB Choudhry, (Jiiva's father as well as the producer for the film), decided to advance the release of his son's film, keeping in mind the Independence Day weekend. Thus Jiiva will not only get a good opening in the long weekend, but without any opposition.

'Rowthiram' is expected to be a mass masala entertainer directed by Gokul. Music is by debutant Prakash Nikki. The film has Shriya Saran in the female lead, and has Prakash Raj, Babu Antony and Ganesh Acharya playing pivotal roles. Click the Movie button below for more info:
