SAC 's 'Sattam Oru Iruttarai' to be remade

S.A. Chandrasekhar's superhit movie of the 80s 'Sattam Oru Iruttarai' is to be remade. 'Ko' girls Karthika and Piaa will share screen space again in this film. They played spunky journalists in K.V. Anand’s political thriller 'Ko' with Jiiva as the protagonist.

Vikram Prabhu, who is now working on Prabhu Soloman's 'Kumki', will play the lead role in the remake of 'Sattam Oru Iruttarai'. Karthika will play opposite Vikram Prabhu. Piaa will do the very powerful character.

Debutant Sneha, a visual communications graduate from Chennai, will direct the remake, which is yet to be titled. SAC will oversee the project.

It was reported earlier that Karthika had met SAC at his office a few weeks ago for a look test. Piaa is in talks and would like the producers to make the announcement first.
