The audio of Dream Warrior Pictures’ ‘Saguni’ was released in Chennai on June 2. Suriya released the audio and director Lingusamy received it at the function which was attended by the film’s director Shankar Dayal, music director G.V. Prakash, actor Karthi and a host of film personalities.

Prakash said ‘Saguni’ is a political satire and offered a good scope for music. The film demanded a massy touch along with a liberal dose of humour. “We have tried our best to come up with songs that will appeal to everyone. There is something for all music lovers _ from a Kuthu song to a sweet melody…”

‘Saguni’ is a second flick with GV for Karthi. They had earlier worked on director Selvaraghavan’s ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’.

With some funny dialogues by Karthi and Santhanam, the film is a “rollercoaster ride” in terms of comedy. Scenes will have viewers in awe with real-life links, GV said.

Interestingly, GV’s fiancé Saindhavi has sung a song ‘Manasellam Mazhaiye…’ along with Sonu Nigam.

One of the highlights of the audio is a song that was shot in 34 locations around Chennai. It glorifies many facets of the City.

The film also stars Pranita. ‘Saguni’ is the second Tamil film for this Kannada actress. She made her Tamil debut with ‘Udayan’ starring Arulnidhi. In Saguni, she has much scope _ it is a nice role where I get plenty of opportunities to perform. The songs are wonderful. Prakash has given us such a variety. They have been shot in locations that have rarely been showcased on screen, such as Poland. “I am very lucky to have been part of ‘Saguni’, she said.

The film traces the migration of the hero from a village to the city. While migrating he creates a lot of problems for himself, but unwittingly solves others’ problems. “It’s a breezy comedy and I am sure the audience will have a nice time,” Karthi said.
