Sakthivel's 'Ego' gearing up for release

Shooting of ‘Ego’, directed by S. Sakthivel, is getting ready for release. The first schedule was shot in Coimbatore, Pollachi and Udumalpet and the second in Chennai and Hyderabad. The songs have been filmed in New Zealand.

Sakthivel came into the limelight after his ‘Kandha Kottai’which featured Nakul, Poorna and Santhanam.

‘Ego’, a fun-filled family entertainer, is his second venture. He has introduced new face Velu, an engineering graduate from the US, as the hero. Pairing up with him is Anwara. ‘Kana Kanum Kalangal’ Bala plays the comedian.

Kash Villanz has composed the songs and Dhina has scored the background music. A.V. Vasanth handles the camera. ‘Kadhal’ Kandas and Ashok Raja are the choreographers.

Friendship, love, hate and ego stemmed from “beautiful lies and unexpected events” throw the lives of the hero and the heroine into a toss. Director Sakthivel says it will be fun to watch the movie.
