Sarath Kumar is poised to hit a century with 'Thalaimagan'

Chennai, Sep 12: Sarath Kumar, who has acted in 99 films so far, is poised to hit a century. His 100th film is entitled "Thalaimagan" and the Pooja for the new movie is scheduled for Sept. 15 (Thursday).

Actress Nayantara will pair with Sarath Kumar. Prakash Raj and Vadivelu are among others in the cast.

Seema Biswas is a surprise inclusion in the cast. She will play the role of a police officer.

Radaan Media Works (India) will produce the film under the direction of R.D. Balaji. Cheran is behind the screenplay. Commenting on his 100th film, Sarath Kumar said: "It certainly is an important film in my career and I look forward to a good and successful movie."

Sarath's 98th film "Chanakya" is ready for release this month. His 99th film "Kakai" is nearning completion and is expected to hit the silver screens next month or on Deewali day this year.
