Shiva to reprise Rajini in 'Thillu Mullu' remake

‘Thamizh Padam’ fame Shiva will play the role that superstar Rajinikanth donned in K. Balachander’s classic movie ‘Thillu Mullu’.

Producer Pushpa Kandasamy will remake it.

Talking about the project, Shiva reportedly said, “Yes, I am doing the modern-day remake of Thillu Mullu. It’s thrilling to redo what the superstar had done so excellently many years ago. Of course, we’re working on the script currently so that the film is tailor-made for the current-day generation and appeals to youngsters of today.”

The film will start rolling by the end of next month.

Pusha Kandasamy has also announced that another KB’s classic starring Kamal Haasan would also be remade.
