Sibiraj to produce own films

Veteran actor Sathyaraj’s son Sibiraj plans to turn producer soon and act in his first production.

Sathyaraj had produced and directed ‘Lee’ starring Sibi. “Chances are I will continue producing films under the same banner,” Sibi told the media.

He had received several good scripts after ‘Naanayam’, but could not find the right producer. Scripts that good producers had come up with were found to be not good enough. So, “ I have decided to produce my own ventures.”

Sibi is listening to a couple of scripts and will select one of them. He is also ready to work with debutant directors who have fresh ideas. “I don’t want budget to be a hindrance when we make a film,” he said.
