One of the songs in Simbu-starrer 'Podaa Podi', which is touted as the highlight of the film, was picturised inside Disneyland in Hong Kong recently. This may perhaps be the first time a Tamil film sequence has been shot in the world-famous amusement park.

The song revolves around a father (Simbu) who takes his son (played by his nephew Samarth) to Disneyland for entertainment.

Director Vignesh Shivaa said the Disneyland authorities took nearly 90 days to grant permission for shooting in the park after a thorough scrutiny of the relevant papers.

Simbu said he had been to Disneyland a couple of times before but had never thought of his shooting here with all the characters which amused him. Shooting with Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse, was a wonderful experience, Simbu exulted.

The romantic flick was launched in 2008 and is yet to be completed. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar who signed the film to play the heroine, is reported to have exasperated.
