Simbu to start working on two films

After the success of Vinnaithaandi Varyvayaa and its honeymoon Simbu will now start work on his next project. Simbu plans to start shoot for his long pending 'Poda Podi'. The female lead will be Varalakshmi, Sarath's daughter. One of Simbu's school mates Vignesh Siva and long time friend will direct the film. This will be Siva's first film.

Immediately after Poda Podi is done Simbu teams up with Lingusamy for his next movie. Recently the photo shoot for the film was held in Chennai. An official confirmation is expected to come from Simbu on this very soon. And the expectations have sky rocketed after Simbu's performance in VTV, his fans are expecting him to maintain the same kind of power packed performance in his future films too. Gautham Menon gave the much needed image makeover for Simbu in VTV which was widely appreciated by Simbu's fans and film buffs which came as a surprise.
