Simbu's one of two songs in 'Poda Podi' released

Simbu-starrer ‘Poda Podi’ audio release is on the cards. Varalaxi Sarathkumar pairs up with Simbu in this romantic and breezy flick, which has long been in production. It is heard that the film is nearing completion and will be wrapped up soon.

A single track sung by STR akas Simbu _ ‘Love Pannalama Vaenama’_ was released on Sept.6.

‘Poda Podi’, directed by Vignesh Shiva, has six tracks and Simbu has sung two thematic songs and his friend Yuvan Shankar Raja has rendered one. Dharankumar is the composer. The songs have been shot in the Disneyland of Hong Kong, Macau, Mumbai and Chennai.

The film travels through three phases of a boy and a girl’s life.

Nirav Shah is the cinematographer while Anthony Gonsalves is the editor. The art director of the film is well-known artist Ute Bergk who was the assistant art director of ‘Batman Begins’, ‘The Dark Night’ and ‘V for Vendatta’.
