'Sivaji' music audio release on April 4

The music cassette and the audio CD of Rajinikanth-starrer 'Sivaji', directed by Shankar and produced by AVM Productions, will be released on April 4. A.R. Rahman has scored the music for the film. He teamed up with Rajini last for "Baba" and with Shankar for "Boys". This is the first time Rahman has worked with both the superstar and Shankar together.

AVM is organizing the audio release function on April 4 on a modest scale though the film has whipped up frenzy what with media blitzkrieg .It is said that the film is being readied for release on Tamil New Year's Day, but the deciding factor may be the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup tournament in West Indies. Shankar, for his part, has kept it secret so far.

The grapevine has it that the trailers of the film would be screened in select theatres before its formal release. Meanwhile, several candid clips of the movie's shooting and promotional stills have been appearing in the print media and on the internet.
