Actress Sonia Agarwal has set up a music school in Chennai. She has named it 'Sound Carriage'. Music director Harris Jayaraj will formally inaugurate the school next Sunday. Invitations have been sent out to a large number of film personalities for the inaugural.

'Oru Nadigaiyin Vaakkumoolam' was her latest film. This film marked her comeback to cinema after her marriage with director Selvaraghavan ended in a divorce.

She had been working on her music school project for a long time. Associating with her in this venture is her brother Saurav, who is a musician.

The school has been located at Mandaveli in Chennai. Digital audio media, electronic music production, live sound, instrumental music, vocal singing and all other music–related subjects will be taught at the school.

Saurav told mediapersons that their school will have a tie-up with London Trinity Music College and adopt its curriculum for its various courses. Classes will be held in an ambiance that will make learning a pleasure, he said.
