'Soundarya' gets 'A' certificate

Director Chandranmohan’s ‘Soundarya’, a scary movie, has been given an ‘A’ certificate by the Censor Board.



‘Soundarya’ is all set for release on Oct.12. New faces Govind and Rithu Sen play the hero and heroine.


The hero tells his friends that the heroine loves him and at the same time talks ill of her casting aspersions on her character. His friends start misbehaving with her believing the hero’s fabricated tales about her. The mental agony she is subjected to eventually leads to her committing suicide. After death her spirit takes revenge on those who are responsible for the tragic end of her life.


The censors mandated 15 cuts in the film holding that there were many horror and vulgar scenes. The makers complied with the directive of the Censor Board. Nonetheless, the Board granted the film an ‘A’certificate, according to Chandramohan. Click the Movie button below for more info:
