Soundarya, daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, plans to make a sequel to Billa which featured Ajith in the lead role.

Ajith will star in "Billa-2" also which will be produced jointly by Soundarya's Ochre Studio and Warner Bro. of Hollywood.

Ochre Studio has tied up with Warner Bro. for making films in South Indian languages. Billa-2 may be the first of them.

Ajith-starrer Billa released earlier this year was a remake of the Rajinikanth flick of the same title which catapulted him to stardom in the 80s.

The modern version of Billa was directed by Vishnuvardhan and produced by Anandha Suresh... It was a big budget extravaganza shot entirely in Malaysia. Nayanthara and Namitha played opposite Ajith. It won accolades for its slick presentation and was a box-office hit.

It will be shown in the forthcoming Cannes Film Festival.

Soundarya has confirmed that she is keen to make a sequel to "Billa" with Ajith in the lead. She reportedly said, "We have only tied up with Ajith. We are yet to decide on the other artistes, the director and technicians. We are working out the project."

According to the grapevine, the budget of Bill-2 will be about Rs 30 crores and Ajith has been offered Rs 10 crores as remuneration. If these reports to be believed, Ajith will become the second highest-paid star after Rajinikanth in Kollywood.

Ajith is currently busy shooting in Yercaud for "Aegan" . He has also signed for a film to be directed by Gautham Menon and produced by Sivaji Productions.
