'Speed is my strength', reveals Rajinikanth

Having recovered from kidney ailments, Superstar Rajinikanth attended a public function on Saturday in Chennai. He took part in the felicitation to veteran filmmaker S P Muthuraman, who was granted the 'Sanakara Ratna' award by Sankara Nethralaya.

Speaking on the occassion, Rajinikanth said, '' I am elated to be here at a function organized to felicitate Muthuraman. We share a good rapport and camaraderie. He gave me an identity by directing 25 films. It is no meagre achievement''.

With regard to his health, the Superstar said, '' I am fast recovering. I am not an actor like Sivaji Ganesan or Kamal Hassan. I don't have any acting skills. All I have is speed. Speed is my strength and as long as I am quick and active, I will continue acting,''. He further stated that he would soon resume acting in 'Rana'.
