Sundar C wows Mirchi Siva

Director Sundar C has renamed his 'Masale Café' as 'Kalakalappu' and its audio was released on April 22. It was Mirchi Siva, one of the heroes who kept the guests in splits with his humour.

Vimal, Anjali and Oviya are in the lead besides Siva.

The film has music by Vijay Ebenezer. P. Vijay penned the lyrics.

Speaking at the function, Mirchi Siva said Sundar C had told him the character he was to portray was envisioned keeping him (Siva) in mind and he could not replace him with anybody else even if he wanted to because he was so apt for the role. Then he went on to say what role it was. "It is the role of a fraud," Siva snapped bringing the house down.

The function was not without a moment of suspense. When the cast and the crew took to the stage, Vimal was not among them. He was found to be hiding behind the banners. He came on to the stage after a lot of persuasion and said, "I suddenly feel nervous and shy. So, please execuse me."

The film, produced by Kushbu Sundar, will hit the screens this summer.
