Suriya, Ravi Teja in Venkat Prabhu's next

The success of Ajit-starrer 'Mankatha' has buoyed up director Venkat Prabhu to start writing a script for his next film which will have Suriya and Ravi Teja sharing screen space. Premgi (Amaren, Venkat's brother) may also be playing a role.

Without revealing too much, Venkat Prabhu says the fun-filled film is very much a story set in the present day and very urban. Importantly, it will introduce a new genre in Tamil cinema.

Confirming that Suriya has agreed to do the film, Venkat Prabhu says he is halfway through with the script and will narrate it to the actor after completing it. Ravi Teja also has not yet listened to the script.

The rest of the cast and logistics will be finalized once the script is ready.

Yuvan Shankar Raja will be the music director and the technical team will mostly consist of those who have helped Venkat Prabhu in his earlier ventures, he says.
