Swetha Menon & Arvind star in 'Thanthiran'

Swetha Menon and Aravind of "Chennai-28" fame play the lead roles in a multilingual film titled "Thanthiran". The Malayalam version was a hit.

Vijayalakshmi Ramamurthy produces the film under the banner of Sri Saravanabhava Movies. While K.J. Bose directs it, V.Dhasi scores music. The lyrics are by Dhanu Karthik, Vijai Krishna and Amirthalingam.

Siddik, Aiswarya and Vinayagam are among the others in the cast.

The film is an erotic thriller with sorcery and witchcraft forming the subject. Special effects and glamour are woven into it.

The story is that the heroine's brother goes missing. To find him, she goes to a person with supernatural powers .Enchanted by her ravishing beauty, the 'tantric' tricks her into his trap. She disappears from the sight of the hero. He is shattered and pines for her. How the two rejoin is the suspenseful climax.
