T.Rajendar's 'Oru Thalai Kadhal' in making

T. Rajendar's new venture 'Oru Thalai Kadhal' is in the making. The first schedule of

filming has lasted 18 days at Kollimalai. The unit next moves on to Dindigul and Theni

areas. The film is to be made entirely in rural settings.

Rajendar himself directs the film and acts in it, besides writing the story, screenplay, dialogues and lyrics. He also scores the music and oversees cinematography.

He wrote the story for 'Oru Thalai Raagam' which was released in 1980. 'Oru Thalai Kadhal' which Rajendar is now making after 31 years, is about how the love between an educated girl and an unlettered youth blossoms.

Rajendar plays the role of a rough music artiste and his dialogues are in Madurai Tamil.

Three new faces from Mumbai play the heroines.
