Chennai, Aug 20 (IANS) Multilingual director Priyadarshan's Tamil remake of Hindi hit "Khosla Ka Ghosla" has run into further trouble.

First Tandav Film Entertainment, the original producer of "Khosla Ka Ghosla, had filed a case against distributors UTV Motion Pictures and Priyadarshan for not taking the permission to remake it in Tamil and now producer S. Shanmugham has moved the court saying the title "Poi Solla Poroam" belongs to him.

A local court has issued notice Wednesday to Priyadarshan and his production house Four Frames reacting to the petition filed by Shanmugham, said sources.

According to Shanmugham's petition, he had raised objections with the Tamil Film Producers' Council earlier this year against the use of the title as it belonged to him.

When the body didn't react, he sought legal intervention, said his lawyers.

Tandav Films's lawyer Jagdish Sagar said the court has been approached to stay the Aug 29 release of the Tamil. However, sources close to Priyadarshan and UTV, have denied the charges and said the movie would be released as schedule.

The trailers of the film are currently being shown on TV channels here.
