Director-cum-action choreographer Tinu Varma from Bollywood is miffed as the censors have given his trilingual action flick 'Kaattu Puli' an 'A' certificate. The centors had initially rejected it, but Tinu continued his battle to get it passed.

The film stars 'action king' Arjun, Bianca Desai, Mr India title winner Rajneesh, Miss India title winner Sayali Bhagath, Miss Assam Hanaya Amith, Jahan, Jennifer and Dawar. Vijay Varma is the composer.

The film in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi revolves around the heroic deeds of jungle couple Arjun and Bianca Desai. Three couples undertake an adventurous journey for fun. The journey takes them to a dense forest where they find themselves in dangerous and life- threatening situations. The hapless couples seek the help of 'Kaattu Puli' Arjun and his lady Bianca. The film was shot in Thalaikonam in Kerala.

Tinu, who has won national awards for action seven times, was not only miffed but also mystified when he heard that the censors had suggested some cuts and given an 'A' certificate to 'Kaattu Puli'.

To remove any wrong perception that 'Kaattu Puli' is a dubbing of a Hindi film because barring Arjun, who is the only Kollywood actor in the trilingual flick, all others in the cast are from Bollywood, he showed the censors certificates and documents to substantiate his claim that it is a straight film.

Tinu is not happy about his film being given an 'A' certificate. He says he will accept their decision only if he is satisfied that the cuts suggested would not kill the 'soul' of the film. His next plan is to approach the review committee. Click the Movie button below for more info:
