Tollywood hero Ram Pothineni's 'Endukante Premanta' with Tamannah, directed by Karunakaran and produced by Sravanthi Movies Ravi Kishore, will be released in Tamil also. The Tamil version is titled 'Yaenenral Kadhal'.

A function to introduce the film was held in Chennai. Directors A.R. Murugadoss, Lingusamy, Balaji Sakthivel, Saravanan, Sasi, and Stanley, lyricist Madan Karky, music director G.V. Prakash and actress Tamannah were among others who attended the function.

Speaking at the function, Ram said though he was born in Hyderabad, he was brought up in Chennai. He had his education here. Eight years ago, he acted in a short film in Tamil titled 'Adaiyalam'. When he was looking for opportunities to act in Tamil films, he was approached for 'Kadhal' and 'Dishyum Dishyum' but both the films slipped out of his hands at the last moment. Thereafter he started acting in Telugu movies. He was happy that his long cherished dream to act in Tamil would be fulfilled now with 'Yaenenral Kadhal'. It was his fortune to be acting in a film directed by Karunakaran, who was born in Tamil Nadu and gave many good Telugu films. 'Yaenenral Kadhal' is a commercial film with a mix of romance, comedy and action, he said and expressed confidence that he would be accepted by Tamil film fans.

Ram is the son of Murali Pothineni, brother of noted film producer Ravi Kishore Pothineni, popularly known as Sravanthi Ravi Kishore.

Ram made his debut in ‘Devadasu’ in 2006. It was a blockbuster movie, which ran for 175 days in a dozen theatres. His last release 'Kanthireega' (2011) was a big success. His other films were 'Ready' (with Genelia D'souza), 'Mask', 'Ganesh' and 'Rama Rama and Krishna Krishna'.
