Vadivelu plays quack in 'Marupadiyum Oru Kadhal'

Camedian Vadivelu, who has been out of public sight ever since the last State Assembly elections, which tripped him, will be seen again in 'Marupadiyum Oru Kadhal' in which he plays a quack. The film will be released towards the end of this month. Censors have given it a U/A certificate.


Vasu Bhaskar has directed and produced the film on behalf of Film Media Anirudh, Jyotsna, Vani Kishore, Suman and Mayilsamy play key roles.



Srikanth Deva has provided music and the audio contains six numbers.



Vasu Bhaskar's film which will see Vadivelu's comeback after almost one year may cause surprise to many as its announcement is not only sudden but without any pre-publicity. Director Simbudevan recently made it known that he would make Imsai Arasan Part 2 with Vadivelu again.



Film circles believe Marupadiyum Oru Kadhal will be a turning point for Vadivelu. He plays the role of a quack. It is a love story with all commercial ingredients. A couple was forced to marry, but neither of the couple loves each other. They yearn to return to their respective love nests. Their family life turns bitter. Both of them ultimately come to a decision that they reunite with those they love. Whether this actually happens is the crux of the story. Problems created by the forced marriage for the relatives of the couple and how truelove prevails in the end are vividly captured.



Vadivelu's comedy track is the highlight. He has played the role of a fake doctor in his unique style, which, according to unit sources, will warm the hearts of his fans who have not seen him in a new film on the big screen for one year. They will laugh again seeing his antics with his patients.
