'Vana Yudham' in Tamil cleared by censors

The Censor Board has just cleared the Tamil version of ‘Vana Yudham’, the life story of the slain forest brigand Veerappan, director and producer A.M.R. Ramesh said. The Kannada version has already been cleared.


Revealing this, Ramesh said a few portions, including the Kannada matinee idol Rajkumar abduction episode, have been cut from the film.


‘Nakeeran’ Gopal, who obtained a court stay against the film, has watched a special screening of the Kannada version and withdrawn his complaint, finding that the film has no offending scenes.



Ramesh quoted Gopal has saying, ”A lot has been captured in two and a half hours. The director has done a good job.”



The duration of the Tamil version is two hours and five minutes.
