Vetrimaaran working on new film
Sep 8, 2011 PSPost the highly successful 'Aadukalam', which bagged six National Awards this year, director Vetri Maaran has immersed himself in scriptwork.
While the buzz is that he's working on a period script and will cast Suriya in lead, some say he's tweaking 'Vada Chennai' and will go on floors with the same. Says Vetri, "It's true that I'm working on a historical drama. It's also true that I have the story of 'Vada Chennai' ready. But I haven't figured out what to do next. I've almost four scripts in hand, and the only thing that I'm sure of is that I will make the film for Dhayanidhi Alagiri's banner. I will announce the final details in another two weeks,".
Meanwhile, Vetri, who celebrated his birthday on September 4, will be flying to Delhi with his family soon to receive an award from Delhi Tamil Sangam. "I will be felicitated on the day of my wedding anniversary (September 8)," he added.
