Vijay's Kaavalan this December

The release date of Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay's movie 'Kaavalan' has been confirmed on December 24th, 2010. A remake of the Malayalam hit 'Bodyguard', the movie also stars Asin, Mithra Kurian, Vadivelu, Rajkiran and Roja along with Vijay. The film is directed by ace Malayalam director Siddique whom Vijay had teamed up with earlier for the blockbuster 'Friends'.

Touted as Asin's comeback film in Tamil, it has music by Vidyasagar and cinematography by Ekambaram. It will also see Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay in a completely different avatar from the regular mass-oriented films that he has been acting in, for a long time now. The actor, who hasn't had any big hit after 'Pokkiri' in 2007, has all his hopes pinned on this romantic comedy. Click the Movie button below for more info:
