Vikram rules out turning a director

The audio of Suseenthran's mega movie 'Rajapattai' starring Vikram and Deeksha Seth was launched at a grand function at Anna Centenary Library in Chennai on Dec.9.



Speaking at the function, Vikram said after 'Samy', 'Dhil', 'Dhool' and 'Gemini', he wished to act in a full-fledged commercial masala and 'Rajapattai'has fulfilled this wish.



Of the films directed by Suseenthran, what was captivated him most was 'Naan Mahaan Alla', Vikram said.



He said he would love to work with the directors with whom he had already worked and so the thought of his turning a director has not crossed his mind.



On 'Rajapattai' Vikram said he would appear in more than 14 'get-ups'. The story plot is unusual and so the screenplay is intense and serious.(The story revolves around the issue of land grabbing and the protagonist's involvement in it.)



Significantly, this film brings Vikram and Yuvan Shankar Raja together for the first time. Three songs were performed on the stage.



Prasad V. Potluri produced the film for PVP Cinema.



The cast includes K. Viswanath, Mithra Kurian, Pradeep Rawat, Avinash, Thambi Ramaiah, Mayilsamy, Aruldass, Shriya Saran (special appearance) and Reemma Sen (special appearance).



Deeksha Seth, Reemma Sen, and K. Viswanath along with actor Kreshna, editor Mohan, directors Vijay and Ezhil, producers T. Siva, Dhananjayan and Chitra Lakshmanan attended the function.



The film is to be released on Dec.23.
