Vikram's much expected drama 'Deiva Thiirumagal', directed by Vijay of 'Madrasapatnam' fame, is being dubbed into Telugu.

After all, the film, titled 'Naana' in Telugu, stars Anushka, who commands a great opening in AP. But what is new is that the film's Telugu rights have been sold for a whopping Rs 5 crore! Bellamkonda Suresh, a big-time distributor in Andhra, has bagged the rights for the film.

'Deiva Thiirumagal' is touted to be an emotional father-daughter fable. The film is reportedly loosely-based on the Hollywood drama, 'I Am Sam', which starred Sean Penn as a man-child. The Vikram-starrer meanwhile has Anushka playing a lawyer and also stars Amala Paul, Santhanam, Nasser and Baby Sara, who plays Vikram's daughter. Music for the film is composed by G V Prakash Kumar while Nirav Shah handles the camera.
