Vimal's next with Seenu Ramasamy

After the National Award-winning 'Thenmerkku Paruvakkaatru', film maker Seenu Ramasamy is all set to begin his next film with Vimal.

We learnt that the director will be making the film for Udhayanidhi Stalin's production house and will start shooting by December. "Yes, Udhaynidhi heard the story and agreed to produce the film, which will be an intense drama," he reveals.

Talking about the film, Seenu says, "The film is set in the coastal region of Tamil Nadu and we will be shooting in a fishing hamlet in Rameswaram district. Vimal of 'Kalavani' is playing the hero, while we are scouting for a female lead. Most of the cast and crew will be debutants."

The director has retained only two key members from his previous film - lyricist Vairamuthu and music director Rahnanthan. "I wanted to provide an opportunity for some of my friends who are struggling to get a break in the industry," he explains.
