Vinay in 'Nootrukku Nooru' re-make

K. Balachander's production house Kavithalaya is reportedly all set to produce the re-make of Nootrukku Nooru, the 1971 film directed by Balachander himself. The re-make however will reportedly be directed by Selva, and will have in key role Vinay Rai, who had acted earlier in Unnale Unnale and recently in Jayam Kondein.

It's also heard that Salim Ghose, who won acclaim for his performance in the tele-serial Subah in the late 1980's and who also acted in Tamil films like Vettri Vizha, Thiruda Thiruda etc, will play a key role in the film, which will have Hema Choudhary also in the cast.

Of the five heroines in the film, the names of three have been announced. Sneha, 'Kathal' Sandhya and Kasthuri are the heroines fixed while the hunt is on for the remaining two. The music for the film will be composed by Iman. Let's wait for more details.
