Vishal hurt during shooting of 'Mada Gaja Raja'

Actor Vishal was injured during the shooting of Sundar C’s ‘Mada Gaja Raja’.

A stunt scene was being filmed at Mani Mahal in Nungambakkam on Sept.4. Stunt director Super Subbarayan trained Vishal for the scene. Richard M. Nathan handled the camera.

Vishal was to jump off the shoulder of a stuntman flooring him. After jumping, Vishal was to use his hands as support to spring up, but inadvertently he tried to get up with his neck pressed against the ground. Finding him writhing in pain, unit members carried him to a private hospital nearby. A CT scan was done and doctors ruled out any damage to the bones and said the pain was due to muscle pull and advised that Vishal should take rest for a few days.

The shooting was suspened.
