Vishnuvardhan casts Taapsee, Arya in Ajith-starrer

Director Vishnuvardan has confirmed that he has signed up actress Taapsee for his upcoming film starring Ajith and Arya. Nayanthara has already signed the film and she will play opposite Ajith. Taapsee's role is not made known but according to the grapevine she will pair up with Arya. This is Ajith's second outing with Nayanthara after superhit Billa. But she is not in the prequel to Billa, which is titled Billa 2 in which Ajith and Parvathy Omanakuttan Nair team up for the first time.

Taapsee, who is popular in Tollywood has not made any impact on Kollywood. Her last film in Tamil 'Vandaan Vendran' with Jiiva did not fare well at the box office.

When contacted by mediapersons, Taapsee told them she would let them know. Apparently she may be having her own reasons for not making the news public now.

Not only Vishnuvardhan, but unit sources also confirmed that Arya and Taapsee have been signed on.

The project was to have been launched by now in Mumbai, but producer A.M. Rathnam has changed the schedule. The film will now go on floors only by the end of this month.
