Will Dhanush do it again with 'Uttama Puthiran'?

It seems like Dhanush has a good thing going with Telugu remakes lately. Once again he is being roped in by director Jawahar K Mithran, in a lead role, for the remake of the Telugu movie Ready. The film titled Uttama Puthiran is the third movie in a row, of the actor-director duo after hits like Yaaradi Nee Mohini (remake of Telugu hit Adavari Matalaku Arthale Verulu) and Kutty (remake of Telugu hit Aarya).

Genelia, who has played the female lead in Telugu movie Ready, will play the same role in Uttama Puthiran too. Interestingly she has already acted in Telugu remake, Santosh Subramaniam (Bommarillu) and delivered a hit. The shooting for the movie has started and they have already shot songs in Switzerland and Italy. Uttama Puthiran is high budget movie and touted to be the biggest budget ever for Dhanush. Hopefully the exotic locations and the proven magic of remake hit formula works out this time too for the actor-director duo!
